We use only vintage high waisted Levis unless otherwise requested. PLEASE NOTE: we are running extremely low on some sizes of Levis 501s, so we can't guarantee whether your shorts will be 501s or another style of high waisted Levis. If you absolutely have to have the button up style instead of zippered, please contact us first to be sure we can fill that request.

You can choose from any of the dyed styles currently for sale in our store or the ones in our sold items. Some dyed styles are hard to recreate exactly, like this style, so you can contact us prior to your order and let us know which style you're interested in and we'll let you know if we're able to do it. (blue/black undyed denim are not available from this listing, only pairs that start from white denim. Unfortunately the red/white/blue dyed pairs also aren't included in this listing).
Custom made in your size, all you have to do is include a note with your order with your waist & hip measurements, along with your modern jean size, as well as the style you want them dyed (example: a link or product number from a pair in the store). Please also let us know if you have a certain length/inseam you'd like them to be. Depending on the size, most fall between 10-12 inches long down the side with a 2 1/2-3" inseam. You can see our other product listings to get an idea of the length for each different size.
Please let us know if you have any specific requests for distressing. If not, shorts will be distressed on both front sides.

Most pairs will be finished & ready to ship in about 2-3 weeks (some requests may take longer depending on the style & what you want, so please ask for a shipping time estimate if you need them by a certain date). If requested, we can send you photos of your completed pair before they ship out to be sure you're happy with them.
Jeans are 100% cotton unless otherwise requested. Dye is permanent and shorts are machine washable. See here for additional washing instructions.
Studs aren't included in the purchase price, but can be added by also including THIS ITEM in your cart at checkout
Please note that since each pair is handmade and one of a kind, they will vary slightly from the pictures of any examples you send us. Also occasionally the pair we use to make your shorts may be missing it's back label/tag. These sometimes will fall off in the wash during the dying process. So please be sure to let us know if that's a problem and we'll do our best to find a pair with their label intact.
